October 20, 2009The Great Bear Rainforest Anthony has returned from his adventure searching for the very rare white Spirit Bears in the Great Bear Rainforest along the Pacific Coast of British Columbia. The impact all the different species of bears left on him has changed the way he perceives wildlife and rekindled that fire within him to search out that special moment in the wild that can make anyone stop and take their breathe away. You can read more about this remarkable trip on Anthony's blog. He will be releasing a large volume of new images from this magical region over the next several weeks, so stay tuned! September 14, 2009It was a pleasure!I have just returned from the Cedarhurst Art Fair at Mt. Vernon, IL. I would like to say thank you to everyone who visited and worked to make that wonderful event possible. Cedarhurst is an amazing facility with dedicated members and volunteers that have created a little jewel in Southern Illinois.
Due to my very busy schedule, it is hard for me to do many shows in my local area. I was delighted to have the opportunity to meet both existing and new collectors, some of which drove considerable distances to have a chance to talk with me in person. I am both humbled and honored by all the excitement and sales of my work. It is rare that I get to meet the people investing in my artwork, so it was a real treat to tell them the stories behind the images they were interested in adding to their collections. Thank you all for your continued support! Tony July 22, 2009Big Announcement! It has been a very busy spring and summer for Anthony. February 27, 2009Anthony's Next AdventureAnthony is pleased to announce that, along with his brother Nicholas, he will be heading to the Slot Canyons of Northern Arizona and Southern Utah in Mid May of 2009. This is one area Anthony has always wanted to explore because the terrain is unlike anything else in the world. Located mostly on an Indian Reservation, one must have a guide to navigate the endless series of caves and passes. The photographic opportunities are absolutely amazing for those willing to make the journey into the maze off twisted rock carved out by thousands of years of flooding and uplift. Many of these caves only have tiny holes or cracks in the ceilings allowing for small beams of light to penetrate the darkness at a certain time of day. This brief window of time where the light shines inside causes dramatic moods and spectacular shapes and colors to come to life on the quartz sandstone walls. Be looking for a New Slot Canyon Exhibit in the early summer of 2009.
